Technical Topics are a series of ongoing mini seminars presented evenings to a local audience:

Compact fluorescent (CFL) downlighting systems. For many specifiers, concerns about poor performance of CFL downlights have limited their application. The introduction of high lumen triple tube amalgam lamps coupled with electronic ballasts provides new performance opportunities not previously available. This timely topic provides demonstrations and supportive data to illustrate the performance parameters of CFL lamp systems.

Low wattage HID systems for commercial spaces, low wattage metal halide and HPS lamps are gaining popularity with specifiers and users. This informative seminar delves in to the use of these sources in both downlighting and accent lighting products. Full scale hands on demonstrations, supported by informative application based materials, provide up to date data on lamp performance in new lighting equipment.

Two GENESYS hands on educational seminars are offered. The basic program helps new GENESYS users find their way through the design process utilizing the database, draw functions and project analyses. The Advanced program builds on the basic experience by providing skills in importing DXF drawing files, managing irregular spaces and sloped ceilings, and getting the most out of the Radiance analysis program incorporated into GENESYS..... Both programs are one day in length.
