SOMETIMES ONLY THE RIGHT KIND OF LIGHT WILL DO
Proper light levels, glare control and other basic lighting elements are
instrumental to assuring visual comfort in the workplace. Lightolier specialists
work with architects and designers to integrate the most appropriate luminaire
layout for a space and its occupants.

Glare-Free Conditions
Annoying, tiresome direct glare is caused by sources of light that
are in sharp contrast with surrounding surfaces. Agili-T luminaires
utilize high-precision optics that provide superior quality shielding
to control and eliminate direct glare in the field of view. Also,
Agili-T offers a full range of louver and lens options to meet specific
lighting requirements. |

Flexible Workgroup Lighting
Flexible network control of Agili-T fluorescent lighting can address
the unique needs of various workgroups within a space, thereby creating
“Neighborhoods of light”. With this strategy, a department
may call for a lower general lighting setting because of their frequent
use of CAD systems, while another department may request higher light
levels because they perform more paper tasks. |

Efficient Workstation Lighting
Thanks to a “One luminaire per person” layout strategy,
Agili-T/iGEN lighting solutions can optimize personal dimming opportunities
while reducing energy costs. Typically, each cubicle or workstation
is equipped with an Agili-T dual-optic direct/indirect luminaire.
The uplight portion provides pleasant uniform brightness on walls
and ceilings. The downlight portion provides direct lighting for tasks.
With iGEN technology, occupants can dim the task lighting component
to suit their needs (e.g. light level preferences for computer work)
without affecting the uplighting component. |

Coplanar Solo
ideally suited to "One luminaire per person" lighting strategy
- Unique lamp-over-lamp design allows for separate control of
optics without “dead spots" on either the ceiling plane
or the luminaire’s luminous aperture.
- Reduced lighting power density through workstation-specific
layout.
- Ergonomic benefits to user and contribution to increased productivity.
- Balanced illumination: Enhanced indirect illumination uniformity
while providing RP1-compliant task illumination with the direct
component.
- Integral smart sensors minimize the size of the control zone
for individual occupancy/vacancy response and daylight harvesting,
maximizing energy savings.
- Dual sensors (motion/daylight) feature out-of-box functionality,
no commissioning.
- Lightolier MultiSense IR/DH sensor features exclusive all-in-one
sensing technology (motion/daylight/IR) with out-of-box functionality,
factory-preset commissioning.
- Intelligence can be accessed for stand-alone functionality
or network integration.
- On-board intelligence and sensor inputs reduce lighting system
complexity, number of lighting system components and costs, both
immediate and operating.
